Olympic Sheep at Eton Dorney
Sheep occupying a wetlands wildlife preserve within the perimeter of the Eton Dorney boating lake, the London 2012 Games rowing venue, have been sprayed with the Olympic Rings to celebrate the holding of the XXX Olympiad there. Ken Wells shot through an MPP Large Format Plate Camera
A Portrait of Ken Wells, Curator of Thames Valley Police Museum, who retires this year (2012) after a half century of service with the police. He is pictured with an original Berkshire Constabulary helmet and the photographs are taken through (and alongside) his own original MPP Large Format Plate Camera that he used whilst a SOCO. Ken started with the Metropolitan Police, before transferring to Berkshire Constabulary. He was originally a beat copper before becoming a Scenes of Crime Officer, as both a constable and then as a member of police staff. PC Lee Umpleby is an outstanding community police officer even when not at work has saved a man's life after he attempted to jump from the IDR in Reading town centre. Beware of what lies beneath
Divers from the Thames Valley Police's Specialist Search and Rescue Team assist the Environment Agency to promote their safety message of 'Beware of what lies beneath' by recovering debris thrown into the water under Whitchurch Bridge.
